Our European-style circa 1881 boutique hotel has been fully restored and offers 19 one-of-a-kind, modern suites. We have veered away from the standard hotel experience to offer you a place of calming elegance in a desirable location. Guests enjoy a comfortable and luxurious stay centrally located in the heart of downtown Guelph. Perfect for business travelers and out-of-town guests. Greeted by a grand entrance and gorgeous hallways with vaulted ceilings, restored radiators and exposed brick walls and pipes and traditional yet modern finishes; we tried to stay true to the historical essence and tradition of the hotel and original architect (Robert Coulson). Being a heritage building we have a grand staircase cascading 3 storeys in the centre of the building (and no elevator), with appropriate accented furniture throughout. We welcome you into this historical gem and know you will make yourself at home.
  • Check-in: 2:00 P.M. to 3:00P.M. is at the Hotel Restaurant Next Door at the bar; Check-out: 11:00 A.M. Early check-in or late check-out may be available at an extra cost and must be pre-arranged at the time of booking. Latest check-in is 11 P.M.

Wasn’t sure what to expect when I had to go register at the Western Bar/grill next door. But once we figured it out we were very pleasantly surprised by how nice the facility was. Room was great. I had a larger pick up truck and they found extra parking for me because I wouldn’t fit in the underground parking lot.

 

Really cute place downtown Guelph! We stayed for a night and it was definitely worth it!

 

This hotel in downtown Guelph was a nice surprise! Old building but very nicely upgraded in a boutique-like style. Clean room and bathroom, good bedding. No elevator but that was ok for us. Great location! No front desk but check-in was very smooth at the restaurant attached. Would definitely stay again.

 

I like how it felt like we had our own apartment. It was close to restaurants and our venue. The price was right.
